Outreach

To provide an outreach ministry designed to encompass God's Children who are unable to participate or are not involved or active in the membership of the Zion community.

HOW DO WE DO THIS?

Demonstrate unconditional love and acceptance for all peoples, regardless of race, age, ability, etc.
Minister to people in their time of need.
Create a greater awareness of Zion within the larger community, including providing information and opportunities for involvement both in the church and the community.
Acknowledge the lack of attendance / involvement of congregational members and seek to determine their needs.

Provide Support for:

Battlefords Food and Resource Centre
Empty Stocking Fund

We Provide:

Home Communion
Worship for residents of long term care facilities
Funeral Services for the community

Alcoholics Anonymous meets Monday at 8:00 pm
Al-Anon meets Monday at 7:00 pm
Open Door meets Wednesday at 1:00 pm

North Battleford Transitional Housing

Zion Lutheran Church has partnered with North Battleford Transition Living to offer affordable accommodations to those whom are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
